Stop Motion Photography

            This is my own stop motion photo. It is a bit blury but that's because I border line destroyed my camera because of how humid it was in this area. I took it while on vacation on Ocracoke Island, my favorite place in the world. I like stop motion photography because of the way it freezes time. When you take a stop motion photogarphy it is as if for that split second of time while you are looking through the lens of your camera you have the power to stop time.

High/Low Key Photography

Personally I like low key photography more than high key photography because of the more dramatic look that is given to them due to of the lighting. I'm not particularlly excited to try to get good high and low key photographs because of the lighting ajustments I'm going to have to do to get a shot that I like but we will see how it goes.

Pinhole Photography

I love the ghost-like images that can be made using pinhole cameras. The long exposure time allows you to create this by standing in front of the camera for part of the time taken for the exposure, depending on how solid you want the person to look, and then after that amount of time just stepping out of the frame and allowing the exposure to finish. I've already tried to do one practice picture like this, I'm not sure how it will turn out but I am hoping for the best and I can't wait to try some more.
